Criteria For BPI Certification

For any buildings, whether it is commercial or residential, it needs to be leed certified by the authorities of the Green Building Council of USA. Some of the criteria that are considered for the building to be eco friendly or green building are that it should cater to the norms set down by the council and one of the important criteria is that the building needs to be power and water efficient. They also encourage the use of renewable and non- polluting sources of energy and lighting and also electrical appliance that are energy efficient. The BPI Certification further helps in monitoring the building performance and ensuring it is according to norms and no specification is violated. The water efficiency is the other important criteria that is ensured in every building and that the norms are followed correctly.
